Students from the sponsorship program meet before the beginning of the academic year

Today, we have 36 children and 5 widows who are sponsored. We are so happy that the number of our sponsored people is rising day by day. This has really improved our members’ livelihoods and we thank God for that. Cows Project

In the Rwandan context, a cow is something of great value especially for the widows of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi who lost all their cows in that period. They feel honored when they get other cows. But also, cows play a great role in reconciliation because those widows give their first calves to people from families who committed the genocide in order to build unity and promote forgiveness.
