Tailoring project
A big number of young girls get unexpectedly pregnant at a young age; mainly due to reasons related to poverty. That leads to many school dropouts, mental health issues and the young girls start struggling with responsibilities that don’t fit their age. Their financial challenges worsen the situation. This project seeks to fill the gap by building the capacity of those teen mothers through giving them a 6months short course on tailoring and supporting them with a package of a tailoring machine with other starting materials at the end of the course in order to start their own businesses and build a foundation for the long run self-reliance.
So far, 30 teen mothers have finished their lessons and started their tailoring businesses in their community. But we have many more who need to benefit from this project. 200 USD can help a teen mother regain hope and sense of life.
